Filmpool Production Coordinator Logan Vanghel walks you through the Filmpool's Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro Kit and the Zoom F8 field recorder.

Not one to shy away from a project, Jeremy has taken on multiple short films and series in the past few years, including a video essay on Paul Thomas Anderson’s work, as well as directing a video with Atom Egoyan, both of which play a part in his short video series about creativity. Jeremy has been an active Filmpool member since he moved to Saskatchewan

Cree storyteller Trudy Stewart is our next Filmpool member to be profiled. Hailing from Flying Dust First Nation, Saskatchewan, Trudy received her BFA in Film and Video Production from the University of Regina in 2008, and is now based in Regina as a writer, director, and sometimes producer.

For our first member profile, the Filmpool is excited to feature actor and stuntman Jason Truong. Jason has been working within Saskatchewan’s film industry since 2000 as an actor, but after the loss of the tax credit, he turned more to stunt work and screen fighting.

Our next Filmpool member to be profiled is filmmaker Sophie Kokott, currently the executive director of Saskatoon’s Floor Thirteen Films. Over the years, Sophie has had plenty of experience wearing multiple hats, most recently her work with her sister, Hayley, on their web series Pieces, whose second season premiered this October.
